Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Motion Graphics and Compositing Project 1 INSTRUCTION Week 3 For our first project, we will need to explore the 8 design principles. The 8 design principles are movement, hierarchy, balance, direction, symmetry, focus, scale, and rhythm. Basically, we have learned all this in semester 1 Design Principles class. But this time we will need to apply them in motion graphics. Other than that, we will be conducting this project with Adobe After Effects. The first 4 (movement, hierarchy, balance, direction) has done by our lecturer and we just need to complete the other 4 (symmetry, focus, scale, and rhythm). Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Sonic Design Exercises INSTRUCTION Week 1 In the first week of this module, we were given a brief by Mr.Razif. Mr.Razif taught us in the Video and Sound production class before and he will also be teaching us in Sonic Design class. To start this module, Mr.Razif showed us some seniors' work to make sure we understand what we gonna do in these 14 weeks. There are several platforms prepared by Mr.Razif like Facebook group and Discord server for us so that we can contact him easier. We will be using Discord for class but not Zoom because Discord can share the sound in better quality. We were also asked to get an earphone/headphone and get Adobe Audition before the next class. After the brief, the lecturer shows us some seniors' work as references to make us more clear about our project. Other than that, we were asked to create a Pinterest acc and pin some nice work on board as our future references. The references can make our lecturer Mr.Fauzi to be more clear about what we are trying to achieve so that he can guide us more effectively.
