Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Sonic Design Project 2 INSTRUCTION Week 9 For project 2, we will need to do narration and sound effects for a story. It was quite hard to get a story that I'm interested and I discussed with my friends and see if they have a website to introduce. On my friend says that we can even use video from YouTube since seniors did that too. So, I started to hunt for a good story with good graphics on YouTube. Finally, I found a monkey king story (Chinese Mythology) which I really like since I was young. The video was from TED and I decided to use it for his project. Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Motion Graphics and Compositing Project 3 INSTRUCTION Week 9 For this project, we are going to explore channel identity. We can use back our project 2 and add on some content. From what I understand, the difference between channel bumper and channel identity is channel bumper is just an intro but channel identity is an intro with content.  To keep the consistency, I will apply the same font (Arista font) and color choices as in project 2. For channel identity, we will need to show some content of the channel so that the audience can understand what the channel going to show. We get to know that there will be two topics for us which is Hotel Boutique and Water Rescue. For the Hotel Boutique project, we will have the chance to work with the student from other courses at Taylor's University. Meanwhile, for the water rescue project, we will have the chance to work with the student from West Bohemia University, Czech Republic. There is limited slot for the water rescue project and there will be only 3 teams. We were asked to group up before the next class. Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Advanced Animation Project 1 INSTRUCTION Week 3 Our project 1 and project 2 are actually the preproduction of the final project. For project 1, we will need to get a video (at least 30s) as references for the final project. Hence, we need to draw a storyboard to capture the important movement. This week, I decided to just get a reference video. To get this reference video, I need to consider the character, the character's movement, and the story.  As I just finished watching Iron man 3, I feel like why not just select one scene and animate it for my final. Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Advanced Animation Exercises INSTRUCTION Week 1 We were given a brief by Mr. Safwan, who is going to teach us in these 14 weeks. We went through the MIB and get to know what kind of project are we going to do. Mr.Safwan did show us some seniors' work and the animation that he did before. From this, we can know that what he expects from us. Before the class end, we were asked to prepare Maya by the next class, so that we can have some exercise during the class. Week 2 In this week's class, Mr.Safwan shows us how to do simple animation (bouncing ball). I think bouncing ball is the most basic of animation since we also did bouncing ball animation at the beginning of Animation Fundamental class.
