TYPOGRAPHY PROJECT 2  9/10/19 Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Typography Project 1 Week 7 (9/10/2019) Describing Letterforms This week we are going to start our project two which we needed to create our own font. Before we start our second project, we learn about letterforms. It is the anatomy of typography, and there is a lot of parts, for example, baseline, median, x-height, stroke, apex, vertex, arm, spine, stem, ascender, barb, beak, bowl, bracket, crossbar, cross stroke, crotch, descender, ear, em, en, finial, leg and so on. Fg.1.1 The Anatomy of Typography Ligature- The character formed by the combination of two or more letterforms.
