Intercultural Design Final Project 20/02/20 Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Intercultural Design Instructions Week 7 After we got the feedback from the lecturer last week, we started to plan for what we are going to do for the final project. Four of us had a group meeting again to share what idea do we have. For me, I suggested doing a figurine of a guy, built up by a lot of different facial expression masks. This is to show that we all are wearing masks, we put different mask during different situations. After some discussion, we developed the ideas that we have and we formed up two final ideas. 1. A small sculpture of a tree with different masks (as fruits). 2. A poster of someone changing faces/masks in a different situation (different background) We showed Mr.Charles our ideas and he said that the concept is good. But under consideration of the time that we have, Mr.Charles don't think that we are able to make a good sculpture in this limit...

Intercultural Design Data Collection 27/01/20 Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Intercultural Design Instructions Week 4 After presenting our proposal to the lecturers and got approval, we started to think about the ways that we are going to collect the data that we need. We will need to figure out the ways this week as we are going to Tokyo next week. And we decided to collect the data by taking photos, interviews and also sketch. Other than that, we do need to do some research on where are the places that we are going to collect the data (for example, the shops we are going). Week 5 Unfortunately, the day we went to Tokyo is still winter and there is no cosplay event going on. We get to know that we will have a high chance to get cosplayer in Akihabara and Harajuku. So we there to spot some cosplayers. Other than that, we went to Sensoji Temple and Tokyo National Museum to do research on masks. So we interviewed the cosplayers that we met at Akihabara...
