In the first week of this module, we were given a brief by Mr.Razif. Mr.Razif taught us in the Video and Sound production class before and he will also be teaching us in Sonic Design class. To start this module, Mr.Razif showed us some seniors' work to make sure we understand what we gonna do in these 14 weeks. There are several platforms prepared by Mr.Razif like Facebook group and Discord server for us so that we can contact him easier. We will be using Discord for class but not Zoom because Discord can share the sound in better quality. We were also asked to get an earphone/headphone and get Adobe Audition before the next class.
Before the class end, we were having an ice-breaking section. Mr.Razif asked us some questions to understand us. For example, he asked us if we can play musical instruments or not and our hobby.
Week 2
This week, Mr.Razif revise us about how to use parametric equalizer on Adobe Audition. We were given 7 soundtracks and one of them is the original soundtrack. We were asked to edit the other 6 soundtracks to make them sound similar to the original version. Below is my attempt:

Week 3
This week, we were taught on creating sound for the environment. Mr.Razif prepared 2 images with different feel for us to play around with sound. Before we start, he give us a website which allow us to get free sound. Link to the website given:

It was the first time we can all sit in class together after so long since the pandemic. We went through the MIB and we were told that we can conduct the project in 3 ways. Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Sonic Design Final Project INSTRUCTION Week 12 In the final project, it is different from what we did before. Before this, we normally use the free stocks sound effect to conduct our exercises. But this time we will need to record our own sound effects. We were given a variety of videos to choose from. Also, an audio storyboard was prepared by Mr.Razif. The reason to have an audio storyboard is that if we are going to record sound in a studio, we need to save time as it is not cheap. We need to get ready for all the materials and know what sound we need to create. Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Professional Development Week Introduction As this is our final semester and we will be graduating very soon, we were asked to learn different knowledge from the people working in the industry and make a report. Hence, we were assigned to take part in the Professional Development Week. Professional Development Week is on week 8 of this semester, and there are many types of workshops provided. In this case, we will need to attend at least 6 workshops which is a total of 6 learning hours. Some workshops were compulsory as it was selected by our Program Director but for the rest, we can choose for ourselves.
