RESEARCH IMPLEMENTATION

Week 8

We were asked to start planning how we want to collect the data by using both research method, quantitative method, and qualitative method. I was not that clear with the instruction, so I went to refer senior's work and I decided to do questionnaire survey as quantitative method and online interview as qualitative method. Below is my planning for data collection:


Week 10

The lecturer review our planning during the class and gave us feedback one by one. For my planning, Dr. Hayati was questioning me that is my questions for an online survey is enough? Also, I need to list the questions for online interviews in the slide too. Below is my planning after collecting feedback from Dr. Hayati.


Week 11

Dr. Hayati went through our planning again and gave us some feedback to improve our slide. For my slide, I can actually elaborate my questions to more and for some questions, I need to change the way I ask the questions. My questions should not be too direct or else it will lock the audience mindset. Below is my slide after correction:


Week 12

As there is no lecture for this week, we get in our group directly to collect feedback for our data collection. Dr. Hayati asked us about our thoughts and feelings for the data that we collected. Are we satisfied with it? For me, I'm ok with it even though I only received 50 responses but there are many useful answers. Below is my data collections with visual analysis:

  Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Major Project INSTRUCTION Week 1 For the first class of Major Project, we were given a short brief by Mr. Asrizal in the class. It was the first time we can all sit in class together after so long since the pandemic. We went through the MIB and we were told that we can conduct the project in 3 ways. The first is to continue with our dissertation topic, the second is to get a client and the last is to make something with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.  After the instruction, Mr.Asrizal showed us some seniors' work to give us some ideas. Sonic Design Final Project

Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Sonic Design Final Project  INSTRUCTION Week 12 In the final project, it is different from what we did before. Before this, we normally use the free stocks sound effect to conduct our exercises. But this time we will need to record our own sound effects. We were given a variety of videos to choose from. Also, an audio storyboard was prepared by Mr.Razif. The reason to have an audio storyboard is that if we are going to record sound in a studio, we need to save time as it is not cheap. We need to get ready for all the materials and know what sound we need to create. Professional Development Week

Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Professional Development Week Introduction As this is our final semester and we will be graduating very soon, we were asked to learn different knowledge from the people working in the industry and make a report. Hence, we were assigned to take part in the Professional Development Week. Professional Development Week is on week 8 of this semester, and there are many types of workshops provided. In this case, we will need to attend at least 6 workshops which is a total of 6 learning hours. Some workshops were compulsory as it was selected by our Program Director but for the rest, we can choose for ourselves.
