 Week 1 (8/1/2020) Manuel Lima's 9 Directive Manifesto

 For our first presentation, we were requested to present about Manuel Lima's 9 Directive Manifesto. Before we started to talk about the 9 rules, we did introduce Manuel Lima, who is the man turns data into art. I'm a person who doesn't really good at English and we got only one day to prepare this presentation. This caused me can't really present well as usually, I need 1 week to prepare.





Week 2 (15/1/2020) Saul Wurman's L.A.T.C.H. Theory

 This is our second presentation in this class. As I know I got no more than one day to prepare, I told myself to spend the time wisely so that I got some time to get ready for the presentation. But in the end, I still can't have the time to practice. So I decided to just read from my small note will presenting. 

 Except for reading notes while presenting, I also made another huge mistake which is my apparel. I was wearing short pants with slippers because I thought that it was just a sharing section but not a formal presentation.






Week 3 (22/1/2020) Miller's Law - Chunking

 For this time, I decided to avoid reading notes while presenting. I tried my best to understand my part and also memorize some keywords. After the presentation, Mr.Kanan said that we have improved and he hopes that we will continue to improve.




Week 7 (18/1/2020) Different Types of Infographics & online tools
This is our last flip topic presentation for this class and we got actually around one week to practice. I did spend some time on practicing so that I can speak more fluently. I was ready for the presentation but I forgot some parts to explain during the presentation as I was nervous.

When a group is presenting in front of the class, someone was talking behind and Mr.Kanan was a bit pissed out because of that. He told me to not talk or having a discussion while people are presenting. We should go out of the room and discuss somewhere else, only come back to the room after discussion. He also remind us that this will be a very serious problem when we are working in the industry.

  Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Major Project INSTRUCTION Week 1 For the first class of Major Project, we were given a short brief by Mr. Asrizal in the class. It was the first time we can all sit in class together after so long since the pandemic. We went through the MIB and we were told that we can conduct the project in 3 ways. The first is to continue with our dissertation topic, the second is to get a client and the last is to make something with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals.  After the instruction, Mr.Asrizal showed us some seniors' work to give us some ideas. Someone designed a font for Pasar Raya, someone illustrated her own Tarot card, and someone designed a series of collateral. Sonic Design Final Project

Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Sonic Design Final Project  INSTRUCTION Week 12 In the final project, it is different from what we did before. Before this, we normally use the free stocks sound effect to conduct our exercises. But this time we will need to record our own sound effects. We were given a variety of videos to choose from. Also, an audio storyboard was prepared by Mr.Razif. The reason to have an audio storyboard is that if we are going to record sound in a studio, we need to save time as it is not cheap. We need to get ready for all the materials and know what sound we need to create. Professional Development Week

Yeoh Wen Jun ( 0334234 ) Professional Development Week Introduction As this is our final semester and we will be graduating very soon, we were asked to learn different knowledge from the people working in the industry and make a report. Hence, we were assigned to take part in the Professional Development Week. Professional Development Week is on week 8 of this semester, and there are many types of workshops provided. In this case, we will need to attend at least 6 workshops which is a total of 6 learning hours. Some workshops were compulsory as it was selected by our Program Director but for the rest, we can choose for ourselves. Below are the workshops that I took part in: Tuesday, May 17 For me personally, I enjoyed the “Financial Literacy for Fresh Graduates" workshop by Mr. Fairuz Izman from MAYBANK the most.
