Week 1 (7/1/2020) & (8/1/2020)

The lecturer started the class by giving us a brief about this module. We were also asked to form a group in 4 for flip topic presentation and also our group project. Then, we were given the first exercise which called as quantify data and visualize data. The lecturers gave us buttons or lego, and we need to quantify them and make an infographic about it on an A4 paper.

Fg.1.0 Data Quantifying
Fg.1.0 shows that I arranged the buttons according to their designs (size, pattern, number of holes, colour). After that, I count the number of buttons for each category and wrote in my notebook. Hence, I arranged them on an A4 paper as how I arranged them in Fg.1.0 and draw the graph.

Week 2 (8/1/2020) & (14/1/2020)

For our second exercise, we need to create an infographic about Pokemon. There is a lot of generation of Pokemon. First of all, we need to choose which generation we want to do for this exercise because different generation has different types of Pokemon. After we chose the generation, we will need to choose at least 3 types of Pokemon by knowing their elements. Also, we will need to know where is their habitat.

I chose the second generation which located in the Sinnoh region. Also, I choose the three most significant Pokemon with different elements (fire, water, plant) during that generation. After I finished the poster, I feel like the map is too empty so I add on one more type of Pokemon with ice element.

Fg.1.2 Pokemon Infographics Poster

As you can see from Fg.1.2, I start the poster with the title "Pokemon" and a short description at the left corner. The reason that I placed them there because people usually ready from left to right. I arranged the Pokemon according to their elements and also their evolution progress. I also located them at the place that easier to see them which is their main habitat.
